WhatsApp Adds Chat Themes and Animated Wallpapers for iPhone
WhatsApp is giving iPhone users new ways to decorate their chats.
Users can choose from five groups of themes.
These include designs made by WhatsApp, nature pictures, simple backgrounds and doodles.
The Live group includes wallpapers that move slowly.
The movement is gentle so it does not distract people from their messages.
WhatsApp can also change the chat bubble colours to match the theme.
Users can find the choices in WhatsApp’s chat theme settings.
The feature is being released slowly, so some people may not see it yet.
Updating WhatsApp may help users receive the feature when it becomes available for their account.
WhatsApp is introducing chat themes for iPhone users.
The theme gallery includes Featured, Nature, Live, Minimal and Doodle categories.
Live themes use gentle, slowly moving wallpapers marked with a Live icon.
Chat bubble colours change automatically based on the selected theme.
