Musk to bankroll Republican midterm push via America PAC
Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, wants to give a lot of money to a group called America PAC.
This group will help Republican candidates win in the 2026 midterm elections.
They will knock on doors, show ads online, and mail people to get them to vote.
Republicans already have more money than Democrats, and Musk’s help will make that difference bigger.
The goal is to keep Republicans in Congress so they can keep working on President Trump’s plans and stop Democrats from investigating him.
Elon Musk plans to invest hundreds of millions into America PAC to support Republican candidates for the 2026 midterms.
The PAC will focus on door‑knocking, digital ads, and direct mail to mobilize conservative voters, especially those who usually skip non‑presidential elections.
Republicans currently hold a $300 million cash advantage over Democrats, and Musk’s contribution would widen that gap further.
Trump’s political team, led by adviser James Blair, welcomes the return of America PAC and says it will “outsmart our opponents” in the race.
The effort aims to keep Republicans in control of at least one chamber of Congress, preventing Democratic investigations into Trump’s administration.
