Delhi Court Accepts NIA Chargesheet in Red Fort Blast
Red Fort blast case: Delhi court takes cognisance of NIA chargesheet against 13 accused · thehansindia.com

A car carrying a powerful bomb exploded near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10, 2025.

Eleven people died and several others were hurt.

India’s National Investigation Agency, or NIA, investigated the explosion and filed a very large case document called a chargesheet.

A Delhi special court has officially taken notice of that document, allowing the court case to move forward.

The NIA says the accused were connected to a group called Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.

It alleges that they planned attacks, collected weapons and made explosives.

The agency says Dr. Umer Un Nabi was involved and died in the blast.

Reports differ about whether the case documents initially named 10, 11 or 12 people, but later reports say 13 people are now chargesheeted.

The next hearing is scheduled for September 9.
