Maharashtra Mandates Standardized Municipal Building Designs
The Maharashtra government wants all new town hall-like buildings to look the same!
They made a rule that all new administrative buildings for small towns and cities must use the same design.
This should make things more organized and make it easier to get things done.
It also helps with using computers and the internet in the offices, so it's easier for people to get help and information.
Even if the building was already planned, it now needs to use the new design.
The government is also giving money to places that don't have their own building yet.
Maharashtra mandates standardized designs for new municipal administrative buildings.
The standardized designs are for Nagar Parishads and Nagar Panchayats.
The designs were approved by the Chief Architect of the Public Works Department.
The policy aims to support digital governance.
Priority funding will be provided to councils without buildings.
