Sylvester Stallone's Struggle Before Stardom

Before Sylvester Stallone became a famous actor, he had some tough jobs.

He shared his experiences on The Tonight Show.

One job was cleaning lion cages in a zoo.

It was a smelly job, and he didn't enjoy it.

He was so desperate that he hoped the lion would eat him because the smell was unbearable.

Stallone eventually quit and took another job at a deli to make a living in New York.
