Indian Bank Stocks Rise for 12th Day, Nifty Bank at One-Month High
Banking stocks in India are doing well, with the Nifty Bank index reaching a one-month high.
This is due to expectations of more people needing loans, fewer worries about government revenue, and lower bond prices.
The US Federal Reserve's interest rate cut also helped.
The Nifty 50 has also increased.
Experts think loan demand will grow due to some policy changes.
Although there are some risks such as bad loans, analysts expect things to improve soon.
Nifty Bank index reached a one-month high, up 0.61% on September 18.
Banking stocks have gained 4% this month.
The Nifty 50 crossed the 25,400 mark, up 4.10% in September.
Expectations of increased credit demand, and falling bond prices are driving the rally.
Analysts expect improvement in loan demand in the coming months.
