Liverpool Coach Gives Update on New Record Signing's Debut
Liverpool's new coach, Arne Slot, has shared details on when fans will see their new star player, Alexander Isak, play.
Isak, the most expensive player signed, is returning from an injury.
Slot mentioned that Isak won't play the full 90 minutes right away because he needs time to get back into shape.
The coach plans to build him up gradually, much like the Sweden coach did when he was used as a late substitute.
Isak has been signed for 6 years, so the team will take their time to ensure he is fit.
Liverpool also tried to sign Marc Guehi, but the deal didn't work out.
Liverpool coach Arne Slot provided an update on the debut of Alexander Isak.
Isak was signed for a record fee of $169 million.
Isak will not play every single match for the entire 90 minutes in the upcoming weeks.
Isak is coming off an injury break and has not played club football this season.
Isak is expected to make his debut against Burnley on September 14.
