PM Modi's Nari Shakti Message Sparks Opposition Attack

India just celebrated its Independence Day, a holiday when the whole country remembers becoming free.

On that day, the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, gave a big speech.

In the speech, he talked a lot about "Nari Shakti," which means the power of women.

Some leaders from another political party, called Congress, did not like what he said.

Congress leader Rajiv Shukla said there is already a special bill to give women more seats in parliament.

He said that bill just needs to be put into action, instead of the government only talking about women.

Another Congress leader, Sachin Pilot, said the BJP, Modi's party, is using the women's bill for politics.

So now, the two parties are arguing about whether the person in charge really wants to help women.

This argument shows that even a message about helping women can become a big political fight.
