India Tops Global Doping Offenders List
India has the highest number of athletes who have broken doping rules, according to a report.
This is the third year in a row that India has been at the top of this list.
The report says that out of 7,113 tests, 260 were positive for doping.
This is a big problem because India wants to host big sports events like the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.
The report suggests that India needs to do more to educate athletes and invest in anti-doping research.
Just setting up new panels won't solve the problem.
It's important for India to fix this issue soon.
India has the highest number of doping violations globally, with 260 cases reported this year.
The positivity rate in India is 3.6%, the highest among nations conducting 5,000 or more tests.
Out of 7,113 tests, 253 urine samples and 7 blood samples failed the dope tests.
France and Russia, which conducted more tests, had lower positivity rates.
India needs to invest in scientific research and education to combat doping.
