Delhi Man Kills Wife, Police Track Him via CCTV and Surveillance
A man named Kamal Singh killed his wife Komal in a Delhi home on July 30 because they argued over property.
He tried to hide the scissors he used and took a lot of cash.
Police used CCTV footage to see what happened and followed his movements.
They found him near a train station and caught him with the money and a scooter.
He admitted he planned the murder after watching a TV show that made him think he could trick the police.
Kamal Singh allegedly murdered his wife Komal Singh on July 30, 2023, over a property dispute.
He fled with about Rs 7 lakh in cash, hid a blood‑stained pair of scissors, and tried to mislead investigators.
CCTV footage captured the couple alone after their children left, the victim’s screams, and Singh leaving with the weapon bag.
Police tracked Singh from Delhi to Gorakhpur, then to Mathura Railway Station, where they recovered Rs 12.75 lakh and a scooter.
Singh admitted planning the murder after buying the scissors and was influenced by the TV series "The Staircase," but investigators dismantled his escape plan.
