Gujarat Revises School Assessment Program to Align With National Standards
The Gujarat government is updating its program called Gunotsav, which checks how well government schools and students are doing.
This is the fourth time they've changed it in six years!
They're making these changes to match national tests and the new education rules from 2020.
Two groups have been created to make these changes, with the goal of improving how Gujarat schools perform in national surveys.
The changes will include new ways to measure student skills, like reading and math, and adjust how much each part of the evaluation counts.
They want to make sure schools and students are focusing on the right things to improve their scores.
They hope these updates will make education in Gujarat even better!
