Telangana to Build Housing for Poor in Hyderabad Slums
The Telangana government is building new homes called Indiramma houses for poor people in 16 slums in Hyderabad.
These houses will be in buildings that are four stories tall.
The government realized that people didn't want to move to houses far away from the city because they would lose their jobs.
So, they decided to build the houses in the city instead.
This plan will also be used in other cities like Warangal, Nizamabad, and Mahbubnagar.
Many people applied for these houses, and about seven lakh people are eligible to receive them.
The Telangana government will build Indiramma houses in G+3 buildings.
The houses will be constructed in 16 slums across Hyderabad.
