Singapore Woman Dies After Alleging Employee Faked Injury
A woman in Singapore, who owned a restaurant, passed away shortly after publicly accusing one of her Indian employees of faking an injury to get money.
The woman, named Jane Lee, claimed the employee, Sran Kiranjeet Kaur, pretended to get hurt at work.
Lee said she had proof the employee wasn't really injured and that it was all planned.
The police are now looking into Lee's death because it seems suspicious.
Lee was worried that other small business owners would be targeted with similar schemes and asked authorities to investigate.
Jane Lee, a Singaporean eatery owner, died a day after accusing an Indian employee of faking an injury.
Lee alleged Sran Kiranjeet Kaur had staged a workplace accident to claim compensation.
Lee posted detailed accusations on Facebook and claimed to have video evidence of Kaur's normal movements.
Lee believed Kaur's actions were premeditated and possibly involved her husband and a legal firm.
