Supreme Court Pauses UP Ordinance on Banke Bihari Temple
The Supreme Court has paused the UP government's new law about the Banke Bihari Temple.
This means the law won't be used until the Allahabad High Court decides if it's legal.
The Supreme Court also said a special group of people will run the temple for now.
The High Court had previously said the government was wrong to make this law.
The Supreme Court wants to make sure the temple is managed well and that everyone gets a fair say in the matter.
Supreme Court will keep the UP government's ordinance on the Banke Bihari Temple in abeyance.
The ordinance transfers administrative control of the temple to the state.
A high-level committee will be formed to manage day-to-day affairs of the temple.
Supreme Court set aside the Allahabad High Court's earlier orders on the matter.
The Allahabad High Court had criticized the ordinance, calling it a 'sin'.
