Aman Gupta Invests in Pure Flow Tape
Three friends met at a bar in Hyderabad and started a company together.
They created a brand called Pure Flow Tape, which makes nasal and mouth strips to help people breathe better.
They also have another brand called Get Snappy.
They went on Shark Tank India to ask for money to grow their business.
Most of the investors said no because they were worried about the founders running two businesses at the same time.
But one investor, Aman Gupta, said yes because he believed in their potential.
He gave them money to help their business grow.
Pure Flow Tape makes nasal and mouth strips to improve airflow and reduce respiratory discomfort.
The founders met at a bar in Hyderabad and later in Goa, where they developed their business ideas.
They asked for Rs 1 crore for 3.3% equity at a Rs 30 crores valuation but received a counter-offer from Aman Gupta.
Most sharks backed out due to concerns over the founders running two businesses and the dropshipping model.
Aman Gupta invested Rs 2 crores for 20% equity at a Rs 10 crores valuation, believing in their potential.
