JSW MG Motor Launches India’s First Mainstream PHEV Hector

JSW MG Motor has introduced a new seven-seat car called the Hector Tomahawk PHEV.

PHEV means the car can be charged and driven using electricity, while also using a petrol engine.

The car has a 20.5 kWh battery.

The company says it can travel 115 km using only electricity.

With a full battery and full petrol tank, it claims the car can travel 1,100 km.

The vehicle costs Rs 25.69 lakh.

It will be available in several colors, including white, black, silver, blue, green, and gold.

Deliveries are expected to start in November 2026.

The launch is described as the first plug-in hybrid offering in India’s mainstream passenger vehicle market.
