India’s Busy IPO Week Brings 12 Issues Worth Rs 3,700 Crore

An IPO is when a company offers its shares to the public for the first time.

India’s stock market has a very busy week of IPO activity.

One report counts 12 issues worth more than Rs 3,700 crore during the week, while another focuses on 10 new IPOs opening next week.

Symbiotec Pharmalab has the largest offering, worth Rs 1,757 crore.

Skyways Air Services and Hy-Tech Engineers are also opening their IPOs on August 24.

Other companies, including Annu Projects and Lumino Industries, will open later.

Some smaller companies will offer shares through SME IPOs.

Investors are advised to study company finances, valuations, subscription levels, and anchor-investor participation instead of relying only on unofficial grey-market premiums.
