PayG Names Harmeet Sethi as CEO to Spearhead Growth
PayG, an Indian company that helps businesses with online payments, has hired a new boss named Harmeet Sethi.
He's been working in tech and finance for a long time and will now lead PayG.
His goal is to make it easier for small businesses, especially those in smaller towns and villages, to accept digital payments.
This means helping them use things like QR codes on their phones.
PayG already got permission from the government to offer these services and Sethi will help them grow and provide safe and reliable ways to pay online.
PayG, an Indian payment gateway, has appointed Harmeet Sethi as its new CEO.
Sethi has over 25 years of experience in tech, financial services, and global markets.
His focus will be on improving digital transactions for merchants in semi-urban and rural India.
He aims to onboard small traders and micro-entrepreneurs onto the PayG mobile app.
PayG received its Reserve Bank of India Payment Aggregator license in May 2025.
