GHMC Merger Approved, Employees Fear Setbacks
Some workers in Hyderabad are worried because their promotions have stopped after a big change in their city's government.
The governor approved the merging of 27 smaller towns into the bigger city government.
The workers met with the city's boss to ask for help.
They want things like better health insurance, bigger houses, and more money for temporary workers.
The boss said he would think about their requests.
The workers hope this will help them move up in their jobs and have better lives.
