ESIC Clarifies: Aadhaar Optional for Benefits
The government wants to make sure workers can easily get help from ESIC, which provides health and money benefits.
You don't need an Aadhaar card to get these benefits.
ESIC will still give benefits, like medical care and cash payments, even if you don't have an Aadhaar card.
Other IDs, like a passport, work too.
The government is also making it easier to get these benefits, teaming up with other healthcare programs and creating online options.
Aadhaar verification is optional for Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) benefits.
Beneficiaries can still access medical and cash benefits without Aadhaar authentication.
Alternative IDs like passport, PAN card, or driving license are accepted.
Aadhaar was introduced to streamline benefit delivery and reduce paperwork.
The Labour Ministry is launching new initiatives to improve ESIC services, including collaborations with other health programs and digital portals for claims.
