Wealth Wave Powers Hyderabad's Ultra-Luxury Housing Surge

Wealth Wave Powers Hyderabad's Ultra-Luxury Housing Surge

In Hyderabad, a big city in India, some people have earned a lot of money and want to buy very expensive homes.

Homes that cost more than ten crore rupees used to be rare, but now they are becoming common.

In just four years, this market for super-expensive homes has grown almost three and a half times bigger.

The buyers are business owners, company leaders, people who work in technology and medicine, and Indians who live in other countries.

Most of these buyers, about 70 to 80 percent, want to live in the homes themselves instead of renting them out or selling them later.

These luxury homes are large and can come with nice views, pools, clubhouses, fitness areas and smart technology.

Most of these expensive homes are in the western part of Hyderabad, where offices and good roads are close by.

Now demand is spreading to other parts of the city too because the roads and connections are getting better.

A housing leader said there is no problem with too many unsold homes, because projects are built and sold in phases.
