NPDCL chief directs modernisation of Telangana power distribution network
There is a company that brings electricity to people's homes.
It is called NPDCL.
The boss of the company talked to his workers from his office.
He told them to make the electricity network better.
They will use new technology to do this.
He wants people to get good electricity without it stopping.
He also wants farmers to get new electricity connections very fast.
The workers were told to finish their projects on time.
This will make electricity more reliable for everyone.
NPDCL CMD Karnati Varun Reddy directed officials to strengthen the power distribution network by adopting modern technology.
He reviewed development works across all 18 circles under NPDCL through a video conference from Vidyut Bhavan.
Officials were asked to prioritise remote monitoring of substations, feeder digitalisation, 33 KV interlinking lines and covered conductors.
