Jaggi Johal's Gold Chain Missing from Police Custody
Jaggi Johal is a British man from Punjab who was arrested in 2017 for terror-related crimes.
He was recently acquitted in one case and asked for his belongings back.
However, his gold chain, ring, and some cash are missing from the police station.
His lawyer says the chain was a gift from his late mother and is very important to him.
The police are now investigating where the items went.
Jaggi is still in jail for other cases.
Jaggi Johal's gold chain, ring, and Rs 5,000 cash are missing from Punjab Police custody.
The items were confiscated during his arrest in 2017 and were supposed to be returned after his acquittal in a terror funding case.
The police have launched a probe and formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to locate the missing articles.
Johal's lawyer claims the gold chain holds emotional value as it was a gift from his late mother.
Johal is currently in jail in Delhi and faces charges in eight other terror-related cases.
