Das threatens hunger strike unless CBI probes Jharkhand exam irregularities

Das threatens hunger strike unless CBI probes Jharkhand exam irregularities

In a place in India called Jharkhand, many students are upset about government job tests.

They think the tests were not fair and that something wrong happened.

A very important former leader named Raghubar Das is helping them.

He said that if the state government does not ask a special detective team called the CBI to look into the problem, he will stop eating.

Stopping eating to make a point is called a hunger strike.

The students have been sitting together and protesting for 19 days.

Some people even died while doing physical fitness tests for one job in 2024.

Mr. Das wants the government to pay one crore rupees to each family of the people who died.

He also warned officials not to pressure or scare the protesting students.
