82 Teachers Honored for Innovative Education Initiatives Nationwide
The National Teachers’ Awards honored 82 teachers for creative work.
President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards on Teachers Day.
Some teachers helped children read books at home.
Others encouraged students to act like “little reporters.”
One project used QR codes to teach people about 102 kinds of trees on a campus.
Another teacher built a knowledge park using recycled materials.
The awardees came from schools, higher education, polytechnics, and skill-training programs.
The President said teachers help more children stay in school and receive equal opportunities.
President Droupadi Murmu felicitated 82 teachers for innovations recognized through this year’s National Teachers’ Awards.
The awardees included 48 from school education, 21 from higher educational institutions and polytechnics, and 13 skill trainers.
Recognized initiatives included home-reading campaigns, student “little reporter” programs, and QR-coded digital mapping of campus trees.
The tree-mapping project documented 102 species, while another initiative created a knowledge park from recycled materials.
