Vijayawada Distributes 2,000 Eco-Friendly Idols for Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Officials in Vijayawada held a programme about celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi without harming nature.

They gave people 2,000 eco-friendly Ganesh idols and saplings.

The idols can be made using natural clay, fruits, flowers and seeds.

These materials are safer for the environment than harmful materials.

Joint collector S Ilakkiya asked people to protect nature while celebrating.

Several government departments and environmental groups helped organise the event.

The programme also taught people why eco-friendly celebrations are important.

It encouraged devotees to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings while caring for the environment.
