Second Phase of Aerial Seed Dispersal Begins in Trikuta Hills
The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has started the second phase of a special project to spread seeds from the air in the Trikuta hills.
They are planting seeds of different trees like Amla and Bamboo to make the area greener and help the environment.
This phase will cover 83 hectares in places like Banj Nallah and Khari Extension.
The project has been going on for a week and is expected to continue for 10 years.
Even though the area is hard to reach with steep slopes and rocky surfaces, some seeds have already grown into plants, which helps make the soil stronger and the area greener.
The board has also been doing other good things for the environment, like using solar energy and managing waste better.
