Uddhav Thackeray Supports Sonam Wangchuk
Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena UBT, spoke at a rally in Mumbai.
He supported Sonam Wangchuk, an activist who is on a hunger strike.
Wangchuk is protesting because he believes there were problems with the NEET exam, which led to some students taking their own lives.
Thackeray said the government is not being responsible and should talk to Wangchuk, just like a previous government talked to another activist, Anna Hazare.
He also said the government is not doing enough for the youth.
The rally happened just before an important meeting in Parliament.
Uddhav Thackeray criticized the BJP-led Centre, calling for a fight against an 'unaccountable' government.
He supported Sonam Wangchuk, who is on a hunger strike over alleged irregularities in the NEET exam and student suicides.
Thackeray questioned why the Modi government did not engage with Wangchuk, unlike the UPA government's response to Anna Hazare's hunger strike.
The rally was held in Mumbai on the eve of Parliament's monsoon session.
Thackeray defended Wangchuk, highlighting his contributions like building solar tents and creating ice stupas.
