'Bidaai' star Angad Hasija says mother pushed him into acting

Angad Hasija is a TV actor in India.

He became famous after playing a character named Alekh in a show called 'Bidaai.'

When Angad was young, he did not want to be an actor at all.

But his mother really wanted him to act because she believed he would do well.

So Angad moved from Punjab to the big city of Mumbai.

He gave his very first audition there and got selected.

That started his journey in television, where he says he has learned a lot and met wonderful people.

Now, years later, he is back in a show called 'Tumm Se Tum Tak.'

In this show, he plays Alekh again, a character he last played fifteen to eighteen years ago.

He feels blessed because people still call him Alekh.
