Diabetes can be life-threatening if neglected: Dr Raghu
Dr Raghu, a health officer, visited a village to check on a mobile medical program.
He said that if people don't treat diabetes, it can be very dangerous.
High blood sugar can make people sick in many ways, like causing infections, problems with eyes, kidneys, and heart.
He listed signs of diabetes like feeling very tired, being thirsty a lot, and losing weight without knowing why.
If someone has these signs, they should get a blood test.
Dr Raghu advised people with diabetes to eat healthy food, walk every day, sleep well, and avoid things that are bad for health like stress, alcohol, and smoking.
Dr Raghu inspected a mobile medical treatment programme in P Kotakonda village.
He warned that untreated diabetes can be life-threatening.
High blood sugar can cause various health issues like infections, vision loss, and heart complications.
