Minor Rape Victim Dies in UP
A 16-year-old girl in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, was allegedly raped by a 25-year-old man named Anuj.
After the incident, the girl consumed pesticide and was taken to the hospital.
She died a few days later.
The police have arrested Anuj and his family members.
They have been charged with rape, abetment to suicide, and other related crimes.
The police have also increased their presence in the area to maintain peace.
