Supreme Court Grants Friday Prayers at Dargah Near Bhojshala
The Supreme Court said that Muslims can pray on Fridays at a special mosque next to a temple in Dhar, India.
They can pray from 1 pm to 3 pm every Friday.
The court also said the government can look for another place if both sides agree.
The court wants to keep the area safe and not change it without permission.
The case is still being decided, so this is a temporary rule.
Supreme Court directed Madhya Pradesh to allow Friday prayers at Khasra No. 596, a dargah land next to the disputed Bhojshala complex.
The order is interim, permitting prayers from 1 pm to 3 pm on Fridays until the case is resolved.
The court clarified the arrangement does not stop either side from agreeing on another prayer site.
Muslim petitioners, led by Huzefa Ahmadi, claimed the state had not complied, offering a site 1.3 km away instead of the dargah land.
The High Court had earlier ruled the complex a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, canceling a long‑standing ASI order that allowed Friday prayers.
