Mohamed Salah joins Trabzonspor on two-year deal after Liverpool exit

Mohamed Salah is a very famous football player from Egypt.

He played for a big English club called Liverpool for nine years, joining from Italian club AS Roma in 2017.

He scored more than 250 goals and helped the team win many trophies, including the Champions League and the Premier League.

In his last year at Liverpool, he didn't play as often and had problems with the coach, so he and the club agreed to end his contract early.

Now he has signed to play for Trabzonspor, a football club in Turkey, for two years.

Trabzonspor has won Turkey's league championship seven times, most recently in 2022.

When Salah arrived in Istanbul, about 25,000 fans came to welcome him, and he said he had never seen anything like it.

The club will pay him a guaranteed £14.5 million a year, plus a signing fee and possible bonuses.

The club's president, Ertugrul Dogan, confirmed the signing.
