Lalbaugcha Raja Begins 92nd Year with Ganesh Muhurt Puja
The Lalbaugcha Raja, a very popular Ganesh idol in Mumbai, has started the preparations for its annual Ganeshotsav festival.
This year marks the 92nd year of the festival.
The first ceremony, called the Ganesh Muhurt Puja, was done on June 14th in the workshop where the idol is made.
The main festival will be held from August 27 to September 6, 2025.
The president of the Mandal led the puja.

The ceremony marked the beginning of rituals for Ganeshotsav.
