Police Bust Urea Diversion Racket; 11 Arrested in Thane
Imagine some people were taking special fertilizer meant for farmers and selling it for more money illegally.
The police found out and stopped them!
They found lots of bags of fertilizer that were supposed to be for farms, but were being put into plain white bags to sell to other places.
The police arrested 11 people, including workers and truck drivers.
They also took a lot of the fertilizer and are investigating what happened.
This is against the law because the fertilizer was supposed to help farmers grow food, not to make money for these people.
Police intercepted two trucks loaded with urea bags marked for industrial use.
11 people were arrested in connection with the alleged illegal diversion of fertilizer.
Police and crime branch raided a godown in Padgha village.
