Independence Day celebrations get regional twist with special menus
India is about to celebrate its 80th Independence Day.
Independence Day is a big holiday when the country remembers becoming free many years ago.
Because there is a long weekend, lots of restaurants and hotels are planning fun celebrations.
Different hotels are making special menus with food from all over the country.
One hotel is taking diners on a food trip from the south to the north of India.
Another hotel is making a special brunch that mixes old family recipes with new cooking ideas.
Some restaurants are giving discounts to people who served in the Army.
There will also be music shows with songs by famous old singers.
Some hill resorts are offering special deals for families who want to stay overnight.
