Adani Energy Begins District Cooling Business with New Projects
Imagine big air conditioning systems that cool whole areas instead of just one building.
Adani is building these in India!
They're starting with a giant one in Mundra, Gujarat.
It will make ice water that gets sent through pipes to cool buildings nearby.
This is like getting cold air from a shared source instead of using many individual air conditioners.
This should save money and use energy more efficiently.
They're also working on another project in Ahmedabad and have plans to expand to other cities.
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) is entering the cooling solutions business.
AESL is building India's largest district cooling facility in Mundra, Gujarat.
The facility in Mundra will have a capacity of 45,000 tonnes of refrigeration.
AESL is also working on a 7,000 TR project in Ahmedabad.
The company aims to reduce cooling costs and improve energy efficiency.
