NTPC to Provide Mobile Science Labs to 60 Assam Schools
NTPC, a big company that makes electricity, is working with a group called Seva Bharati Purbanchal to bring science labs to 60 schools in Assam.
These aren't regular labs; they're in special vans that can move around.
The vans have cool science tools like microscopes, telescopes, and even solar energy kits.
The idea is to help kids in remote areas learn science in a fun, hands-on way.
The project will last for a year, and the vans will visit schools in three districts: Bongaigaon, Chirang, and Kokrajhar.
The goal is to make learning science more exciting and help kids become more curious about the world around them.
NTPC has partnered with Seva Bharati Purbanchal to implement a mobile science lab project in 60 government schools in Assam.
The project will cover 20 schools in each of the three districts: Bongaigaon, Chirang, and Kokrajhar.
Mobile labs will be equipped with scientific instruments, demonstration models, and digital teaching aids.
The initiative aims to provide practical exposure to physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and renewable energy.
The project will be implemented over a one-year period with a total outlay of Rs 57.88 lakh.
