Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle Sales Rise 42.7% In Q2

Tata Motors sold many more commercial vehicles in the second quarter of FY27 than it did a year earlier.

It sold 135,114 vehicles during the quarter.

Sales in India grew, and sales outside India grew even faster.

Several types of trucks and passenger vehicles also sold more.

Sales in September were higher than in September last year.

Electric vehicle sales grew by 2.4 times.

The company said government spending, construction, mining, online shopping, and the festive season could support future growth.

It is also watching diesel prices, commodity costs, possible interest-rate increases, and global uncertainty.
