Kavi Subhash Empty Train Reversals Set for January 2027
Kavi Subhash Metro station had to stop carrying passengers after cracks appeared in its platform supports.
The damage became worse after heavy rain in July 2025.
For now, trains end their passenger journey at Shahid Khudiram station.
Empty trains then travel toward Kavi Subhash and return using a track crossover at Shahid Khudiram.
Metro officials plan to let empty trains reverse inside Kavi Subhash from January 2027.
This could help Metro run a few more trains during busy times.
The damaged platform is being removed and will be rebuilt with stronger supports.
