Williamson Declines Contract, NZC Announces New Players
Kane Williamson, a famous cricketer, chose not to sign a full contract with New Zealand Cricket for the upcoming season.
This means he can play in different cricket leagues around the world.
Four new players have been added to the team's main contract list.
These players have shown great skills.
Other players who are not on the main contract will likely get agreements to play when they are free from other commitments.
Kane Williamson declined a central contract with New Zealand Cricket for the 2025-26 season.
Williamson cited his desire to play more franchise cricket worldwide.
Four new players, including Mitch Hay, Muhammad Abbas, Zak Foulkes and Adi Ashok, were added to the 20-member central contract list.
The new players replaced Tim Southee, Ish Sodhi, Ajaz Patel, and Josh Clarkson.
