Dan Muse Named New Pittsburgh Penguins Head Coach
The Pittsburgh Penguins have a new head coach!
Dan Muse, who is 42, was chosen to lead the team.
He previously worked as a coach for the New York Rangers and Nashville Predators, where he was in charge of the penalty-killing units.
He has also coached at various levels, including college hockey and the U18 Team USA, where he won a gold medal.
Kyle Dubas, the team's General Manager, picked Muse.
Dubas praised Muse's ability to help players improve.
Now, Muse will be responsible for leading the Penguins.

Muse, 42, previously assisted the New York Rangers from 2023-2025.
He coached the Nashville Predators from 2017-2020, where he oversaw penalty-killing units.
Muse has experience in college hockey, junior leagues, international hockey, and the NHL.
