Bombay HC Forms Committee to Curb Construction Pollution
The Bombay High Court has formed a special team to check if construction sites in Mumbai are following rules to reduce pollution.
The court wants the city government to show what they have done to control pollution in the past year.
They have also told the government to send special teams to check construction sites and make sure they are following the rules.
The court said that if the rules are followed properly, construction-related pollution can be reduced quickly.
Some people who work for groups that care about the environment said the government is not doing enough to enforce the rules.
The court will talk about this again on December 15.
