AP Minister Aids Young Cancer Patient
A 6-year-old girl named Sasani Chandrika from Annamayya district was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor below her eye.
Her mother, Vijayamma, made a public appeal for help because her husband had passed away, leaving the family in financial trouble.
The AP Health Minister, Y. Satya Kumar Yadav, visited the hospital in Hyderabad where the girl was being treated.
He was directed by Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan to check on the girl and ask the hospital chairman, Nandamuri Balakrishna, for immediate help.
The minister also arranged for advanced treatment and financial assistance for the family.
