Google Enhances Chrome with Gemini 3 AI
Google has added a new AI feature called Gemini 3 to its Chrome browser.
This makes Chrome smarter and helps users do multiple tasks at once.
For example, you can keep working on one tab while using the AI sidebar to do something else, like comparing products or hotels.
The AI can also automatically browse the web, find deals, and even apply coupons for you, but it will always ask for permission before making any purchases.
Gemini 3 in Chrome also connects to your Gmail, YouTube, and Google Photos to help with things like schedules and travel bookings.
Google is rolling this out first to some users in the US and will expand it later.
The AI is designed to keep your data safe and will ask for your permission before doing anything important.
Google integrated Gemini 3 into Chrome, adding AI-powered multitasking and contextual help.
New features include a dedicated AI sidebar, Context Group for cross-tab analysis, and auto-browse for automated tasks.
Personal Intelligence connects information from Gmail, Search, YouTube, and Google Photos for personalized assistance.
Initial rollout is for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the US, with a wider release planned later.
Enhanced security measures ensure user data protection and require permission for sensitive tasks.
