Kerala CM Blames Previous Govt for Power Crisis

Kerala CM Blames Previous Govt for Power Crisis

The Chief Minister of Kerala, V D Satheesan, said that the current power crisis in the state is because the previous government ended a good deal for buying electricity.

This deal was with private companies and gave electricity at a lower price.

Without this deal, the state now has to buy electricity at higher prices.

The CM also mentioned that there is less water in the dams and less rain, which makes it harder to produce electricity.

He said the new government is trying to fix the problem by buying more electricity at better prices.
