BJD Suspends MLAs Amid Conspiracy Claims

BJD Suspends MLAs Amid Conspiracy Claims

In Odisha, India, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) party leader Naveen Patnaik has suspended two of his party's members, Arvind Mohapatra and Sanatan Mahakud, for what he calls anti-party activities.

The party spokesperson claimed that the two MLAs were part of a conspiracy to weaken the BJD, backed by Bijoy Mohapatra, Arvind's father and a former BJD leader.

The spokesperson defended the action, stating it was based on months of careful consideration and concrete evidence.

Arvind Mohapatra denied the allegations, stating they are baseless and his father has no involvement with the BJD.

The BJD's move seems to be a way to stop other party members from joining Bijoy.

There's also some worry about the upcoming elections for the Rajya Sabha, where the BJP might win more seats than the BJD.

It's all very political and a bit complicated, but it shows that there's some big changes happening in Odisha's politics.
