Ten Gram Panchayats Merged With Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation
Ten village councils in East Godavari district are being joined to Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation.
Nine are in Rajamahendravaram Rural mandal, and one is in Kadiyam mandal.
The announcement comes before local body elections in the district.
The final voter list includes more than 1.34 million people.
Officials have identified thousands of polling stations and are preparing ballot papers and ballot boxes.
