Netflix Cancels Several K-Dramas, No Season 2 for Popular Shows
Netflix is ending several popular Korean dramas that came out in 2025 after just one season.
This means that shows like 'Beyond the Bar' and 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' won't be getting a second season, despite being well-liked by viewers.
The streaming service marked these dramas as 'limited series,' meaning they were only planned to have one season.
However, some shows such as 'Dear Hong Rang' might still have a chance for renewal, as they haven't been labelled as limited series.
Fans are disappointed but some shows may come back.
Netflix has cancelled the second seasons of multiple K-dramas that premiered between May and September 2025.
Dramas include 'Beyond the Bar,' 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,' 'You and Everything Else,' 'Mercy for None,' and 'Aema.'
The cancellations are due to these shows being designated as limited series, with no plans for follow-up seasons.
Several other shows have not been officially tagged as limited series.
Fans are disappointed with the news.
