Delhi Bombings Kill 60, Injure 200 Ahead of Diwali
Imagine a very busy day in New Delhi, India, right before a big holiday called Diwali.
Suddenly, bombs exploded in three crowded places: a busy market near a train station, another market in South Delhi, and a very popular market where families were shopping.
These explosions were very scary and sadly caused many people to lose their lives and many more to get hurt.
The explosions happened so close together that it seemed like a planned attack.
People thought that some bad groups from other countries might be behind it, perhaps to cause trouble between different groups of people in India.
After this sad event, the police made security much tighter to try and keep everyone safe from future attacks.
It was a day that brought a lot of fear and sadness, overshadowing the happy holiday season.
